Or, saving for shopping. I saw this post on Cleo Malaysia (January 2012) and I'm actually wondering whether Malaysian women have a secret stash somewhere for them to splurge on handbags. That'd be interesting!
But I do have to agree with the post. I am among those who do save to splurge. I mean, if it's something that's quite pricey (read: diamonds or gadgets) well... Delayed gratification is the key to success.
One word of caution though: Do not shop on credit! You might be paying for something that you're not using anymore months later.
